Law Firm Marketing - 7 Steps to Content Writing Success

Making a splash using social media marketing and through your content strategy can be a challenge for those who haven't done it before. However, in this modern age it is imperative that companies and individuals looking to promote themselves have a content strategy for featuring their business online. Oftentimes it simply takes knowing the right things to do and what content to feature on a blog social media page, or website.
Sharing on all your social media pages and your website
After you have developed content either on your own or you have hired someone to help you with it, it's time to share it with your audience and those who might interested in what services your business has to offer. Share any content that you have posted on your blog or website on your social media pages, and make sure to share relevant articles and media through retweeting or on your Facebook page. Sharing content ensures your content won’t get buried on your blog. Also feel free to recycle content that you had posted previously to help boost its views.
Do your research
One of the best ways to be successful with your content and social media pages is to know what works and what doesn't. Both Twitter and Facebook have interactive analytic methods that make it easy to track whether a specific post or tweet has gotten attention or not. By doing your research and tracking who has interacted with your posts, you can find out what others are interested in and it can give you an idea of what to post in the future.
Choose posts related to current topics
Posts that get the most traffic are often related news and current events. While it might be difficult to make a connection between your business and the Superbowl, posting tweets and statuses that relate to your industry or are connected with what is going on in the world can bring in more traffic and can attract new customers.
Have quality content
For most businesses, it is absolutely necessary that you have a blog and website that potential clients can view and return to often. To keep readers' interest, you'll want to make sure that you post high-quality content on your blog that somehow relates to what your business does and the services or products that you offer. This requires good writing and knowing which headlines will attract customers.
Use media other than text
While of course it is important to have good writing on your website and social media pages, text alone is not likely to attract new people who might be interested in what you have to offer. Adding a picture that is relevant to your business or that will start conversation is a great way to catch eyes and to make your page more interesting. Video can also be helpful to your content strategy when you want to get a message across.
Post frequently
One of the biggest mistakes that most make when they are putting together content and social media is forgetting to post on a regular basis. While you don't need to have a strict schedule in order to get results, it's a good idea to have some posts in order to publish once or twice a day. This gives people a reason to come back and see what you have been up to.
Have fun with it
While you always want to maintain a sense of professionalism when updating your content, you should also make sure to include your passion for the company and to post things that reflect your love for what you do. Potential clients will be able to tell if you are only contributing halfheartedly, so make sure to put some of your personality and love for what you do into your posts.
