Overview

Answering Legal integrates directly with Lead Docket, allowing all new client messages to flow seamlessly into your CRM as leads. No copying, no pasting—just automatic, real-time lead creation so your intake process runs smoothly.

What This Integration Does

  • Pushes new client messages into Lead Docket’s Opportunities
  • Populates contact details, intake responses, and case info
  • Keeps your lead pipeline current and organized

Getting Started

  1. Activate the Integration
    • Send us your Lead Docket Answering Service form URL.
    • The technical support team will review the form for accuracy and configure the integration for you using this link.
    • Once confirmed, the integration goes live immediately.
  2. How to Find Your URL
    • In Lead Docket: Navigate to Manage > Integrations > Add New > Answering Service
    • Name the form and save
    • Click Preview & Test, then copy the URL from your browser (starts with https://)

What You’ll Need

  • Your unique Answering Service form URL
  • No credentials or tokens required—just the form link

What Gets Synced

  • Contact Info: First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Email
  • Intake Responses: Appear under Case Details and Notes
  • Messages are created in the Opportunities section

Where to Find Your Leads

  1. Click the star icon in the top right of your Lead Docket dashboard.
  2. Select View All under Opportunities.
  3. Click any lead name to view Case Details and Notes.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Lead missing from Lead Docket Checklist:

  • Was the message for a New Client?
  • Are you checking under Opportunities?
  • Was the form URL properly formatted?

Still unresolved?

  • Send us:
    • The Message ID(s) of the missing leads
    • A screenshot of what you're seeing under Opportunities
  • We’ll confirm sync status and take corrective action if needed

Tips for Best Results

  • When creating the integration form, don’t modify the default Answering Service fields.

Double-check the form is active and not archived.
