Overview

Our direct integration with PracticePanther ensures that every new client message captured by Answering Legal is seamlessly delivered into your PracticePanther account. This streamlines your client intake process, eliminates manual data entry, and ensures that no lead falls through the cracks.

What This Integration Does

  • Automatically syncs all new client messages from Answering Legal into your PracticePanther CRM.
  • Populates intake data as structured “Calls” within your “Activities” tab.
  • Keeps your contact list and matter records up to date in real-time.

Getting Started

  1. Activate the Integration
    • You will receive a secure OAuth2 link from our Tech Team.
    • Click the link, log in to PracticePanther, and approve the connection.
    • That’s it—your integration will now be live and remain active for 12 months.
  2. Reauthorization
    • You will receive a reminder with a new link before the connection expires.
    • Simply repeat the login and approval process to maintain connectivity.

What You’ll Need

  • Your PracticePanther login credentials.
  • Guidance from our Tech Team (included—we’re with you every step).

What Gets Synced

  • Contact Information: Name, Phone Number, Email
  • All custom intake questions
  • Messages appear as a new “Call” entry under “Activities,” sorted by date (most recent at the top).

Where to Find Your Leads

  1. Log in to PracticePanther.
  2. Go to the Activities tab.
  3. Select Calls to view all incoming new client leads.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Lead didn’t appear in PracticePanther Checklist:

  • Was it a New Client message? (Only these are synced)
  • Are you checking under Activities > Calls?
  • Was the integration activated?

If problems persist:

  • Email us the Message ID(s) and a screenshot of where you’re checking in PracticePanther.
  • We’ll verify the integration status and data sync on your behalf.

Tips for Best Results

  • Ensure your intake forms are up to date with the questions you care about.

Monitor for integration renewal reminders before the 12-month window closes.
